Shipping Policy

By choosing Electric Technology’s domestic shipping service, your shipments are handled through Aramex under the following conditions:

  1. Scope of Service

All domestic shipments are governed by Aramex’s official Conditions of Carriage. By using our service, customers agree that Aramex’s terms apply in full. Aramex reserves the right to choose the most suitable route, method, and handling process for delivering shipments safely and efficiently.

  • Service Commitment

Aramex will arrange the transportation of shipments between the agreed pickup and delivery locations once the applicable charges are paid. While every effort is made for timely delivery, Aramex may use partner carriers and different transport methods when required to complete delivery.

  • Shipment Restrictions

Aramex may refuse, inspect, or stop shipments at its discretion if they are unsafe, prohibited by law, or could cause delays or harm to people, equipment, or other shipments. Certain classes of materials are strictly not accepted for carriage. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their shipment complies with Aramex’s list of acceptable goods.

  • Liability Limits

Aramex is responsible for the shipment only while it is within Aramex’s custody. The maximum insured value that can be accepted is EGP 25,000. Aramex does not cover indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit, market, or income.

  • Customer’s Responsibilities

Customers must ensure that all goods are properly packed, labeled, and addressed for safe transportation. Incorrect packaging, insufficient labeling, or misdescribed contents are the customer’s responsibility and may result in delay, loss, or refusal of shipment. Customers are also responsible for ensuring compliance with customs and legal requirements.

  • Claims for Loss or Damage

Any claim relating to loss, damage, or delay must be submitted in writing to the nearest Aramex office within 60 days from the date the shipment was accepted. Claims will not be processed if transportation charges have not been fully paid.

  • Insurance Option

Aramex maintains cargo liability insurance as per its standard terms. Customers may request additional shipment insurance at the prevailing rates for declared values up to EGP 25,000. Please note that consequential losses or delays are not covered under any insurance policy.
